What exactly is "meant to be' suppose to mean,
what exactly does it embodies that makes it all so desirable or so it seems
Those 3 words are thorns on roses
spoken with negligence, and suffer the consequences
the source of happiness or pseudo euphoria
the cause of heartaches and countless insomnia
those sweet words leave a bitter after-taste
one that lingers and fill your heart with distaste
a moment of careless naviety is all it takes
to fall victim to cupid's arrows by mistake
its nothing more than a forbidden fruit
I cant overemphasize how it only always ends with empty pursuit
infatuation, lust, and fatal attractions
are what most pursue for instant satisfaction
the most vulnerable are blinded by desperation
to fall victim to those with hidden intentions
so what does love has to offer?
since....
theres no such thing as happily ever after.
